about jump.global
it all started under the disco ball
What began as an executive marketing agency for music business professionals steadily evolved into an unofficial community that would come together in cities like New York, LA, Nashville, and London.
At our NO EGO parties, we set a respectful boundary: no industry talk. The tired question, “So, what do you do?” was no longer the centerpiece of networking.
From label execs to lawyers, streaming gatekeepers to artist managers—you could see the relief and excitement in people’s faces when they realized they didn’t have to lead with their job title or even bother to mention the artists they work with. Just their first and last name.
That’s when we knew: something bigger was happening.
As the disco ball spun at each event, we were reminded that self-reflection is essential to sustaining a career in the music business where the only constant is change.
As music industry professionals, and most importantly as humans, we need things to entertain us – that spark joy and light as we navigate this business. A disco ball only shines when light hits it, and people are the same. Our real brightness comes through reflection and a strong sense of identity.
The music business is built on artist development, sound, and fandoms – but jump.global’s purpose is to fuel the personal and professional growth of the workforce and humans that power the business we love. And why not have some fun along the way?
In 2023, we introduced the jump.global Annual Summit where hundreds in our community could come to learn about wellness, leadership, communication, legacy and identity. It became clear that our work needed to evolve and span the full spectrum of development for music business humans.
Today, we continue to offer the same agency services we began with – but with a more intentional model that takes human development into account.
We host events throughout the year to compliment these offerings in order to create dialogue around the need for consistent access to learning and development tools tailored towards music business professionals.
We are constantly striving to challenge our peers to be more effective in all ways.
All of this work led us to building a year-round community organization where practices like these are proactive, rather than reactive, and self-investment is commonplace.
Our mission to make the music business more human is what drives us – and we won’t stop until our community feels seen, heard, and cared for.
Every mirrored fragment of the disco ball is part of a larger whole, just like the different parts of our lives and work. Real growth happens when we come together.
